    Notepadqq for linux works as well if not better. You can find it in the ubuntu store.

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
    (your password)
    (enter)

    sudo apt-get update

    sudo apt-get install wine 3.0

    If you want to run Windows programs on Linux, also consider letting the vendor know that you want to run their program on Linux by showing your interest on https://www.softwareonlinux.com. With enough demand, vendors will eventually port their software to Linux!
