I got to try this! Wonder if the pickle pipe would work better for fermenting in the jar…. I love the sweet wine too… you ever try ice wine? I bought a bottle once and it was too sweet…. you're only supposed to have a shot glass of it but I drank the whole thing in about a minute….

    Can someone please answer.
Would it help at all to also use maybe 1 5mg wine yeast packet per jar? Would that raise the alcohol content or just speed up the process??. Very new to this. Love this idea, great video. Thank you.

When I made this "wine" while locked up you had to burp it to prevent it from exploding.

Don’t use aluminum lids! Watch this for the reason why. https://youtu.be/MeOCStSlVUA also mash the berries and take them out by straining them and don’t have them in the final product because they can mold.

Can you only make wine like that, with ONLY berries, or what if I live on an island. Can I make wine of other native fruits? Plus, how long it takes for it to turn into alcohol? @texasprepper2

You're lucky if the jars don't burst. Leave the rings loosened so the fermenting gasses can escape.

Winemakers who use carboys also use an airlock to let the gasses escape while keeping insects and other impurities out. I use an airlock (without the float and without water) when I fill half-gallon jugs with tap water to use for drinking. Chlorine in the water is a gas in its natural state and will evaporate in a short time if allowed to. The airlock (with perforated lid) allows the gas to evaporate while keeping flies out.

So I know this may be a stupid question but how will I know if I don't ask anyway where does the alcohol comes in or come from? Does it come from the grapes I'm just curious…??

Im confused. Just sugar and water make into wine.  My in-laws parents made grape juice like this for the kids.  Never turned into wine

No yeast? You just did sugar water and fruit? Will it work with frozen home picked peaches?

"redneck" DULLASS NATIVE here 1941 – 1988. The best wine I ever tasted was homemade around 1965. Before or since then, I liked MOGEN DAVID or MANICHEVITZ. I cant stand "dry" wines or the SNOBS who pretend to like them. If it don't taste good to me, I don't drink it. Making my own seems like too big a headache.
