So having 4-gallons of wine using 16 lbs of sugar would make at least 28% alcohol… not yet counting the sugar content in the pineapple, thus increasing the alcohol percentage.

(I've got no idea (nor the gadgets) on how to actually compute it, but I'm just basing the calculation on an online Wine Alcohol Content Calculator)

We did blackberry wine 5 carboys, process took forever, due picking blackberries, but result and taste amazing. Will definitely try pineapples. Way easier to pick. 🙂

I'm 35yrs old, but I remember every note to this background music. I remember it since I was a baby, from certain toys.

I'd prefer a spoken commentary to the music you used.

You should've allowed the pineapples to ripened a lot more!

Did you need to sweeten, most if mine turned out dry any suggestions

I just wonder…. WHAT IF…. you use canned sweetened pineapple juice then add yeast…
    Would it still become wine?
This way, it already has sugar; and you don't need to crush pineapples.

    want some real hooch.
    buy one cocoanut.
push a pin hole in one eye.
let sit in fridge 2 days.
remove and plug eye hole with canning wax.
put back in fridge for three months.

one sip of this will sit you down before you can put it down.

I cringed when I saw you storing the pineapple in plastic Wal-Mart bags. Those bags are anything but clean and potentially have lots of electo-statically attracted mold spores, dust, and other contaminates inside. To me it defeats much of your other sterilization procedures.

Other than the bag thing, thanks for the video (thumbs up)

Do you need to use a carboy for the primary fermentation?  I have a six gallon sealed container that has a port for the airlock.  Will that work?

the video presentation was good. However, not much details were given; i.e. like how racking was done, how to remove the co2 from the mix.

used 4 pineapples with 3 gal of water and 5lbs of sugar with fermenter yeast…… was going to make brandy but (did not) because it's not legal here. but if I would have made so said brandy it (would have) turned out amazing. but thanks for the video didn't know you could get a good result from pineapples!!

Do you add any sulfite to keep the wine fresh?  If not how long will it last?  Thanks

it helps the fermentation process if you put the container in a dark warm environment
