Do you really need all of the acids?

This seems like it would be much simpler to juice the berries before hand, then use the juice instead of the actual berries. That is just me though.

I don't know what everybody's deal with the music was, it was fine. What was not fine was the speed and pacing. I kept hitting skip and finding you were still going. I literally skipped over 60 seconds of you mashing it with a potato masher and you still weren't done. In the time I watched this video I could have ordered a book from Amazon on wine making, had it delivered, and read the it. And staring at your stove burner for 30 seconds, what was that? Work on some editing, man.

Is this recipe possible with unprocessed anything? example sugar cane to replace the sugar, lemon juice for acid, and cold crash for finishing? also what would the proportions be, if you know?

Wonderful presentation, music and videography. I like the idea of heating rather than sterilizing by potassium metabisulphite up front. Do you think the heat affected the flavor? Did you discard the must? I add it to rhubarb sauce .

Very informative.  I have some questions tho:  What was your starting gravity of this(I may have missed it)?  Also have you tried this with honey instead of sugar?  Thanks!

Does boiling the strawberries like you did make the taste better? I didn't do this on the batch last year but it still turned out nice. May try boiling them this year.

Hi, thanks and I think the music was spot on, some people have no taste… one thing did you let it cool to any particular tempo before adding the acids  and pecto and tanning ?

Just wondering, when you finished your wine did you use a fining agent so it would clarify and if so what type did you use? I've been doing a lot of research and there seem to be so many factors to take into account :/

Bill, I'm new to wine making. I followed your video and made a double strawberry wine batch today. One question, when do you use camp den tablets or the likes in this process. I assume you didn't use them before yeast was applied because the 30-35 min at 200F pasteurized the juices?
Could you clarify this please. Thanks, Brian

how to make wine at home without yeast  try Awsomic Wine Maker (do a google search)?  Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got excellent success  with it.

Great video Bill, that tip at about 5.00 could be a life saver let alone a marriage saver. lol !
Good idea to use frozen fruit. Even if you can grow your own, freezing helps them to break down easier. Cheers and 17 Mate.
