The shoe should be a dress-shoe with a hard sole ?. The sneaker had a rubber sole. Therefore made it a slower process

wow never opened a bottle of wine. i was making meat sauce and it required wine. the cork screw was stuck; my hand was in pain, decide to use this drastic measure, it totally worked. thanks, will have great spaghetti sauce.

What about a cork that won't budge with a corkscrew.

the best way to open a wine without buying an expensive or electronic piece of equipment is a standard wine key. not a corkscrew with the two wings, those are for amateurs. i'm talking the classic ones that servers use with the knife and hinges. really easy to cut the foil, and easy to pull out the cork with the hinge. and it looks very professional.
