I was always taught NOT to screw the worm all the way down, but instead go just until only about a half turn is left showing. You don't want to pierce the bottom of the cork, just in case it cracks or crumbles, and then would drop bits into the wine. Most worms actually are specifically made to be the exact length of a cork, so if you always just leave a half turn at the top, you won't end up pushing it all the way through.

Haha I always thought mine was two in one to open my wine and the other to pop open my beer bottle. Never knew it was to help with the wine foil.

Let's keep it real. Bottle coaster = big jar lid.

Can you make a video of where to buy good quality glassware for wine stem or stemless but also not too expensive? Or refer to one if you have one already

    Hi Whitney,
Once you open the bottle for guest in a restaurant what do you do with the cork? Do you set it on the table? If so where? Near the Bottle? Or near the person who ordered the bottle?
Or would you remove the cork off the table?
Also once the guest gives the OK to pour at the table, do you pour him a full glass? Or pour the other guest first? Or oldest person first? Or women then men? What's the proper etiquette to this once the bottle is open

Hi, I'm from Arkansas and I was wondering if you have ever had any wine from here and if so what do you recommend? Thanks. Love your channel.

Awesome tips, Whitney! I never realized I was mistakenly using a single hinged wine opener!

ah, so that is the purpose of the first hinge on my corkscrew. i need a new one cos of the way it's shaped, it has never leveraged onto any of my bottles (and i don't like pulling the cork out just with the second hinge). i just checked your web sites, and looks like they're all sold out 🙁

Well done. There are certainly a lot of contradicting info out there, but this post hits all the points. Well done. Ps. Tell Skyy to have you on more.

ScrewPull is by far my preferred corkscrew FWIW, and I've tried most of them.

When the title said "Like a pro" I expected backflips and fireworks. Everyone opens a bottle of wine like this, I was disappointed.

Does this video apply to me if I am not a drinker?

I watch mostly funny vids on YouTube, so when a video of mine ended and it automatically moved on to this random one, I watched for a bit, then skipped around to see if it was a parody. Aaand it wasn't. No smashing or struggling here. Nothing against the creator of this video (I'm sure this would come in handy if I needed help with wine bottles), but YouTube seriously needs to get its shit together with video suggestions, assuming this wasn't completely random.

I'd like to thumbs-up this video, but I'd be afraid of it making my suggestions even worse, so I'll just give my verbal approval of it here. Very nice, for people who need help with this.
