    Bought the cheapest bottle of wine from Costco for $8, assuming it would be a bottle cap, but discovered it had a cork. So I desperately tried the serrated knife and hammer/nail technique. All it did was pulverize the cork and contaminate the wine. There is no God.

    ok either these methods suck or this guy is not smooth at all. like why is he spilling it each time?! so frustrating lol
    i use a hammer and a chopstick when i don't have a bottle opener around and i've never spilled
